Hi, I can say that LIDS can be something like a B1 OS. For a B1 system, the target is so width and so complexity. Not only a MAC, but also many other releated things are needed to be done. LIDS impletement a simply MAC in the kernel, maybe named as Refrence Monitor. I am sorry for the mistake and it just my word on the pages but not releated with other LIDS developers. thank you for your notification! Thanks, Xie On Mon, 4 Sep 2000, Milan WWW Pikula wrote: > Hi, > > recently I've found this statment on the LIDS home page: > > What is LIDS > ... > * B1/B2 level of the OS > > great :) not only they do kernel changes without real security model, > they also lie like a gasmeter :). > > I'd like the webmaster of LIDS to shout this line off, as it is > absolutely nonsensical.
