I'm not a big kernel coder, but if kmalloc is so unstable, is it possible to use only vmalloc calls during the init? I think it could create some waste but might be more stable. or not? Amon: on one computer everything is ok. with pre7 (raid, etc.,previously this was unstable). But I tried to use pre7 on a computer with 4 raid mirrored disk and about 3-4 other partitions (some with reiserfs), this hangs at the read_fd_list kmalloc call all the time. boldi -------------------------------- Bencsath Boldizsar boldi@etl.hu -------------------------------- - To unsubscribe from the rsbac list, send a mail to majordomo@rsbac.org with unsubscribe rsbac as single line in the body.
