Amon,
Apparently diff does not handle symlinks very well (how could it?)
The UML-patch/make dep-routines fail to setup two important symlinks
which I had to manually fix.

in include/asm-um do "ln -s arch ../asm-i386". and in arch/um/include do
"ln -s sysdep-i386 sysdep". Hmm. As I am writing this using standard UNIX
mail, I can only edit lines at a time. The first "ln -s" is wrong. Switch
arguments please. ;-)

I do not know why these symlinks are not created by make dep, but I would
imagine that it is a makefile bug. I'll send Mr. Dike a bug report ASAP
tomorrow.
