Currently I tried pre8 with 2.4.6+ 2.4.7pre6 patch + a patch for network QoS hang. result: An athlon machine with software RAID 1 disks hangs at booting (in count_active_tasks). At next boot it goes till the ext2fsck part and then it dies with oops in c01d1e92 (rsbac_get_attr)...
