They have been added on special request by people who really need them and
(are supposed to) know what they are doing.

What I could do is make (yet) another switch 'also show discouraged and
dangerous options', which is disabled by default. Thinking about it, it might
be a good idea anyway, because it reduces the number of options to work through
in most cases.
