Could you possibly retry with 2.2.17 > and v1.1.0? Just cleaned /rsbac and rebooted into full featured 2.2.18-SMP-rsbac-v1.1.0 and it worked fine on my test system. The same combination as UP is also running on a several systems here without any problems. The main difference: All my systems are running SuSE Linux 6.3 to 7.0 - but this should not matter at all.
