Hello All!
ALT Linux company presents third beta version of the ALT Linux Castle
distribution. Castle is the server distribution with RSBAC security system
integrated in it.
This beta version has following major changes:
+ Selection between classic syslog and syslog-ng versions has been
added.
+ File integrity checking system AIDE has been integrated.
+ Deep integration of RSBAC and user applications has been initiated.
This beta version provides CUPS/RSBAC integration.
+ New experimental feature RC-Redirection (redirection for directories using RC rolls) has been added.
+ Minimization of number of SUID and SGID programs.
+ Lots of packages have been revised and updated to the most stable
versions of the programs.
The distribution is available as an ISO image and as a set of packages
from the company's FTP server. It will be also available from the mirror
sites as soon as possible.
